Our approach

Today’s coaches need to work deeply and with breadth – to move beyond an exclusive focus on personal performance and narrow measures of success. This takes high levels of self-awareness, presence and skill.

At Wise Goose we bring a seriously playful curiosity to the questions of the kind of work coaches are now being asked do and what the field of coaching might become in the future.

Our approach includes the bigger picture – transforming the way we see ourselves and our place in the world, partnering with clients to create a better world for themselves and wider communities – we think of this as creating success with a soul.  With this in mind we undertake voluntary work with the local community and /or environmental organisations and make donations ‘in kind’. This includes:

  • giving at least one (usually more) free training spaces worth £1,500 and £4,500 to a charity, social enterprise or that can make good use of a coaching style into their teams/organizational culture.
  • on a case-by-case basis, offer bursaries to candidates who cannot pay full fee with preference shown to those who are from underserved groups themselves, including women owned enterprises, or who work with underserved groups, or in areas social justice or sustainability.
  • offering 20% reduction in fees to B Corporations and graduates of MSc Responsibility in Business Practice (University of Bath)  & Sustainability and Responsibility (Ashridge.)
  • Provide ‘pro bono’ or low cost coaching and mentoring to charities where resources permit.
